Angelica Panganiban is a Filipino-American actress, model and TV host as well as a comedian. Panganiban, who has been known as "the modern Queen of Drama" in a number of news sources within the Philippines she is among the most well-known and versatile actors. As the youngest runner-up in history, Hale was second on the podium. Angelica Hale fell ill at age four, suffering from Strep and pneumonia as a result of an infection caused by a bacteria. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston was forced to put Angelica Hale in ECMO Life-Support because she required life-saving medical treatments. She went septic and experienced multiple organ failure, including the kidneys that did not fully recover. Her new normal was peritoneal and then hemodialysis. For the eighteen days she spent in hospital, her life was changed for the better. After one year and a half of dialysis Angelica was ready for the biggest surgery she had ever undergone- her kidney transplant. The mother of Angelica was the recipient. Angelica Hale had a successful kidney transplant with her mother on the 13th September 2013. The surgery was performed in Emory University Hospital, and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale, a young teenager from Atlanta, who always dreamed of becoming an actress and singer and is currently working towards that goal.
